Dear [Recipient name/s],

Happy New Year!

While [I’m/we’re] a bit sad to see 2023 go – a good year, no? – [I’m/we’re] so excited to say hello to 2024. Every ending contains a new beginning, and as 2023 ended, the sheer range of possibilities which the new year might contain can feel huge. Overwhelming, even.

Hopefully, like [me/us], you’re feeling more-or-less optimistic about whatever the year might have in store for us, both personally and at work – though if you’re feeling rather indifferent or feeling a little pessimistic about 2024, that’s OK, too.

Coming down with a case of the so-called “January blues” is quite common. But why? Well, that depends. Our mood and disposition are affected by so many different factors that it can be hard to pin down an exact reason.

Coming down from the cortisol-fueled holiday rush, for example, can sometimes leave us feeling like deflated balloons. Or like plastic bags. Drifting through the wind, wanting to start again. (Any Katy Perry fans out there?) To add insult to injury, it’s cold dark and wet outside.

That’s why [I/we] wanted to send you a short note as a reminder to take a look at our {Company Name} Wellbeing Hub if you’re feeling a bit under the weather. Sometimes, just having someone to talk to can work wonders for seasonal slumps.

If you haven’t checked out the Wellbeing Hub in a while and you’ve forgotten where to find it, here’s a link {Insert your Wellbeing Hub URL HERE}. Using it is as easy as 1-2-3. All you need to do is pick the perfect professional and book a date and time. And it’s all private, secure and confidential, of course. We value your privacy, so no one at our company have access to any identifiable information about what professionals you meet and when.

We’re excited to see what the future holds in store for you, and for all of us at [company/institution name]. Whatever happens, it’s always a good idea to prioritise self-care.

We hope you’re doing well. Let’s make it count in 2024.

[Cheers/Regards/Best wishes],
