Professionals: Recording intro videos to offer your services in our Wellbeing Hubs

This article will guide you through best practices and pointers to promote your services via video.

If you are reading this, it means that one of our Customer Success Managers at Kara Connect has contacted you to produce a video where you present your services. We are happy to help you and promote your services!

Specifics

  • It is better to record the video in Landscape view. Here is a video that explains best practices for recording the perfect video.
  • Keep it simple, fun, and between 2 and 5 minutes. If you need more time, you can coordinate a webinar version with us.
  • When recording the video, try to use a headset for better sound quality. Be in a well-lit space, with light facing you rather than behind you.

Pointers (what to talk about)

  • Start by introducing yourself in 1-2 sentences.
  • State your job title and what you do on a day-to-day basis. What is your expertise?
  • Name at least 3 things you can help clients with. Explain why your services are important and how they impact your clients' lives.
  • What is the most common problem that clients bring to you? How do you resolve or deal with them?
  • Why do you do what you do? Why is it so important to help your clients with your expertise?
  • Can you talk about any aspects or new developments in your area of expertise? What is changing? What is working, and how is your practice or field of practice evolving?
  • List 3-5 things that people could do to improve their wellbeing in your field. For example, if you are a nutritionist, you can talk about your relationship with food, 30 minutes of exercise per day, NEAT movement, and how talking to you can help.
  • Talk about your hobbies. What do you enjoy doing for fun, for yourself, or to help your own wellbeing?
  • It is good to mention at the end that using Kara through the Wellbeing Hub is secure, and that employers will not receive any information about their usage, booking, or location.

We look forward to receiving your video file. Feel free to send it via a shared Google doc, Dropbox link, Box link, or any other platform. We will review and edit it to make sure it is clear and branded. Thank you!
