You can invite your colleagues to be a part of your team in Kara Connect

1. Adding a team member

If you would like to add a team member to your company's account in Kara, you can easily do so in your settings.

Follow the steps below to add a team member:

  1. Select your name in the top right corner and go to settings
  2. Select office team which is located on the left side under office
  3. In here you can Screenshot 2023-10-18 at 08.44.55 team members by filling in their details and pressing add member 

⚠️ Team members must accept your invitation before collaborating in Kara. They will be in "Pending" status until they accept.

🚨 You cannot create a session with a team member until they accept your invitation and are no longer in "Pending" status.

2. Managing the role of a team member

Would you like to manage the role of your team members? You have the ability to set permissions for each member of your team.

Once a team member has accepted your invitation and successfully set up their Kara account:

  1. Hover with your mouse over the name of the team member
  2. On your right side you will see a pencil icon
  3. Click on the pencil icon to access the settings and customize the permissions for your team member.

3. Adding team members to groups

You have the option to create groups within your team to enhance visibility, especially if you have a larger team.

  1. In the Office team settings you can go to groups
  2. You now have the ability to create groups for better organization and visibility within your team.
  3. To add a team member to a group, navigate back to the active members section.
  4. To add a team member to a group, simply hover your mouse over the name of the team member you wish to add.
  5. Click on the pencil icon.
  6. Next, you can add the team member to the group or groups of your choice.

4. Adding a service to a group

You can add services to a group that is connected to the team members in that group

  1. To create services, simply follow the step-by-step instructions provided
  2. Once you have created your service, you have the option to connect it to the group or groups of your choice.

⚠️ Creating groups is not necessary unless you need to manage a large team or assign different services to specific team members.
