Thank you for volunteering to do sessions with clients from the Grindavik Support Hub - this article shows the quick and easy steps needed to add your availability to this Hub so clients can make bookings with you.
To set up your Service and Wellbeing Hub availability for the Grindavik Support Hub, please log in to your professional Kara Connect account and follow the steps below, or follow the steps in the video below:
1. Set up your Service
(i) Go to Settings --> Services.
(ii) Click Add+.
(iii) Please use the following for the title of the service: Consultation (Grindavik)
(iv) Complete the Duration, Price, Statement Descriptor and Availability fields
- Please ensure to set the price as 0 (Euros or ISK)
- Please use the following for the Statement Descriptor: Grindavik
(v) Click Save.
2. Set up your Grindavik Support Wellbeing Hub availability
(i) Go to Calendar and schedule and click Add New + beside Wellbeing Hub availability.
(ii) In the Name your availability field, please enter Grindavik Support.
(iii) In the Visible on selected Wellbeing Hubs field, please select Grindavik support.
(iv) In the Service field, please select Consultation (Grindavik).
(v) Please choose the days and times that you want to be available for bookings from clients in this Hub.
We recommend choosing 1 specific day and offering 2 hours of availability on that day, in order to ensure that you can only receive 2 bookings in total from this Hub. However, if you would like to make yourself available for two hours in total but on different days, please make sure to block any hours in your calendar that you're not available for bookings from Wellbeing Hub clients by following these steps.
How this appeal project will work?
1. We are creating a Wellbeing Hub for all Grindavik residents to easily find the professional support they may need.
2. In the Wellbeing Hub, residents will have access to all professionals (like yourself) who are volunteering their time for sessions.
3. Grindavik residents will book their sessions through their Kara Connect Wellbeing Hub, and the booked sessions will appear in your Kara Connect Calendar as usual.
4. You can join the online session at the scheduled date and time. (You will also receive a confirmation email with the session details.)
5. Depending on the number of sessions you are available to donate, once you reach the maximum number of bookings you are donating, we will disable your availability on the Wellbeing Hub.
