To make sure your calendar reflects your time off or holidays, follow these quick steps to block your availability.
How to block your time off

Log in to your Kara Connect professional account.

Click Create event in the top-right corner.

Select the Block time tab in the pop-up window.

Enter your details:

Title: (Optional) e.g., "Annual Leave."

Date & Time: Select when you will be unavailable.

Blocking multiple days
- To repeat this block across several days, click Repetitions.
- Click the days that you'll be unavailable and then select how long you would like to repeat this unavailability for.
- Select the date that you would like the Block to end on and click Save Block time.

⚠️ PLEASE TAKE NOTICE WHEN USING REPETITIONS
Please review your end date carefully before saving a repetition. Selecting the wrong date could block your calendar for several weeks or months.
If a mistake occurs, you can:

Manually remove the unintended blocks from your calendar.

Contact our Support Team for assistance. Please note that manual corrections by our team are complex and can take up to two weeks to resolve.
After you have clicked Save, you can navigate to the date/s that you selected to make yourself unavailable and see them, as per the image below!

Use the "Click and Drag" shortcut
For a faster way to manage your schedule, you can block time directly on your calendar:

To block time: Click the time slot where you want to start, then drag the cursor down to your desired end time.

To create sessions: Use this same click-and-drag method to quickly schedule client sessions.

How to remove blocks
If your plans change, you can easily clear blocked time from your calendar:

Locate the block on the specific date and time.

Click on the block you wish to remove.

Select Delete.
Note: Currently, multiple blocks must be removed one by one. If you have a long series to clear, please allow a few moments to delete each entry manually.

Please note:
If you have enabled Google Calendar integration, your blocked time will automatically sync between both platforms.

How it works: Any time you block in Google Calendar will automatically appear in Kara Connect, and vice versa.

Important Tip: Currently, Kara Connect does not recognize "Out of Office" status or "All-day events." To ensure your time is blocked correctly, please set specific start and end times for your events in Google Calendar
