Kara Update: Upcoming changes in credit billing process

This article explains upcoming changes in the credit billing process and what you need to keep in mind as a Kara Connect professional

We’re implementing changes to our billing process that will make it easier and faster for you to manage invoices for Credit sessions. These changes will help to automate invoicing, reduce your administrative workload, and minimise the risk of human error.

Please review the following key updates that will take effect soon:

1. Credit Sessions Will Be Automatically marked as Completed After 48 Hours

All credit sessions will be automatically marked as “Complete” and “Paid For” 48 hours after the scheduled end time.

What do I need to do?

If a session which is covered by Credit is in your calendar, it will automatically be marked as completed and paid. Therefore, it’s essential to cancel or reschedule any sessions that didn’t take place right away.

2. Credit Sessions from Previous Months Will Be Finalised

You will no longer be able to edit or create credited sessions for previous months.

What do I need to do?

Ensure that your Kara Connect calendar is always up to date, especially if:

• You are available On Request
• You see clients in-person
• You use another booking system alongside Kara Connect

Please ensure that all Credit sessions are recorded promptly in the Sessions tab of your Kara Connect account.

3. New “Billing Details” Section Coming Soon

If you are an admin manager of your clinic or professional account, you’ll soon see a new Billing Details section in your Workstation containing your billing information.

What do I need to do?

For now, nothing. Our finance team will migrate your data, but we’ll ask you to review and confirm your details once this new section is available.
