Wellbeing Hubs- Tips to Drive Awareness: What are other wellbeing and HR leaders doing to promote and unify their wellbeing hubs offering?

Want to take actions to drive your wellbeing hubs awareness in your organisation? You are in the right place. Here you will find 6 tips other HR Leaders are actioning today to drive their wellbeing strategy.

Our Head of Success has been speaking with various HR and wellbeing Leaders to understand how they ensure their employees know about support services available (specifically Kara Connect). Here are some methods you can use to promote your wellbeing offerings:

1- For a solution or benefit to be effective, it must be embedded in the business's core. Communicate about it in town halls and all-hands meetings, mention it in wellness events, and promote it internally. Leaders discussing the issue can significantly impact employees' buy-in to a wellness culture. Encourage senior leadership to endorse access to your wellness hub's professionals and lead by example.

2- Share access information in a frequently visited section of your employee systems. For instance, add it to Slack and set up automated workflow reminders weekly or bi-weekly. This way, employees are reminded that professional support is always available. If you aren't using Slack, many other tools and intranet systems allow you to post recurring reminders and updates. 3- Include your Wellness Hub in managers' meetings and leadership discussions. Any initiative can succeed if management is genuinely committed to driving it. For example, if an employee appears continuously anxious or stressed, a manager can encourage them to seek professional support. Sometimes, having a manager recognize the struggle and recommend the internal tools and services can significantly boost employee engagement.

4- Consider hosting open chats at your company. While discussing personal struggles publicly may not be for everyone, some organisations have found success in creating an open culture. They invite staff members to share their past struggles and coping strategies without judgment, normalising mental health in the workplace.

5- Use weekly newsletters, such as a Friday roundup, to communicate essential information. This is the perfect platform to promote your wellness hub and the professional support available. You could spotlight some of the professionals connected to your hub. If needed, your Customer Success at Kara Connect can assist with specific content.

6- Don't forget the basics! Whether your team is remote, hybrid, or office-based, use printed materials like flyers and posters with a QR code linking to the Wellbeing Hub. These work particularly well in restrooms and kitchens.
