At Kara Connect, we are thrilled to see your company prioritize your wellbeing by offering this exciting new benefit. We understand that confidentiality and security are top concerns when seeking support. That's why we guarantee that all information and sessions you book with your chosen professional are fully confidential and secure. Your personal and identifiable information will never be shared with your company. All sessions are managed solely between you and your professional, and video and audio calls are end-to-end encrypted.

To maintain patient-client confidentiality and security, Kara Connect uses peer-to-peer connections. This means that individuals in the virtual room connect directly with each other and send data without the possibility of a third party listening in.

Our goal is to provide you with a comprehensive platform that not only meets but exceeds your expectations. FAQ's

Who pays for the sessions?

Your employer offers its employees a certain amount of sessions with an expert of their choosing. This is communicated by your HR team.

Why do professionals require personal information?

Some professionals require additional personal information from you to ensure you receive the appropriate service from them.

Who will know about my sessions and treatment?
Only clients and experts will receive information on booked sessions. No personally identifiable information will be passed on to a third party.

 

Do I need to create an account?

Yes. An account is needed to guarantee confidentiality between expert and client and to ensure the employer pays for the sessions. 

Do I need to provide receipts or a report on my sessions?

No, you do not have to provide anything related to your sessions.

Can I book a service for someone else?

No, you can only book sessions for yourself.

What do I do if I have a technical problem?

During office hours, the people at Kara Connect will gladly assist you through the blue chat bubble in the lower right corner or by emailing us to support@karaconnect.com. You can also find answers to various questions here. We recommend you finish your registration early to avoid sign-in issues right before the session.

How do remote meetings work?

Log in to your Kara Connect account. You can do so through the link you’ll receive in the booking confirmation email, or go to www.karaconnect.com and click Log in.

1. Select your session in the dashboard and click Join now in the information window. 2. Make sure that your camera and microphone are working. You can change the settings by clicking the three dots in the right corner of the video window.

3. Click on Join session to commence the meeting. There, you should see your expert.

How do I know when I’ve finished my sessions offered by my employer?

You will receive a notification by email when you’ve finished your sessions.

What happens if I need more sessions than the subsidised ones?

Kara Connect will alert you before your last sessions. Your credited sessions remain private. If you need additional support, you can keep seeing the professional on your own time without subsidies from your employer.

Can I use my Wellbeing Hub even after my Sponsored Credits are depleted / used?
YES! You can! You can continue using and benefit from the professionals support connected to your Wellbeing Hub, you simply need to arrange the payment requirements with the professional of your choice. To learn more about this click here.

Is the information about my sessions or what professionals I am meeting shared with my employer?

No! Never! This service is fully confidential and no one in management of HR will have information that relate to their sessions or bookings with professionals in your Wellbeing Hub. We strongly believe about employees confidentiality to ensure the services they use are supporting fully their Wellbeing.

Additionally Kara Connect, video meetings in Kara use a peer-2-peer connection between participants. The peer-2-peer connection is encrypted using a DTLS/SRTP connection, this means that media is encrypted only at the sender and can only be decrypted at the receiver.

Security is a priority at Kara to keep Kara as secure as it can be we regularly go through a security audit from security company where they do a thorough review of Kara and make sure that Kara is up to data in all security related matters.  

How do I cancel my session?

To cancel your session you will have to contact the professional via their email or phone number. You can find their email address in the booking notification email you received from Kara. Unfortunately, you can not contact your professional directly through Kara Connect. Here you can find more information on how to contact your professional.
